So this year Cody and Matt had been talking so much Street Fighter trash that they decided to dress up as Ryu and Ken and do battle. They invited anyone else that wanted to dress up as a Street Fighter character to join the nerd fun. I said I'd go as Blanka, even though I'm not Mexican. The costume was easy enough… green body paint, orange wig and chest hair.
Before Halloween there were quite a few parties this year and you can check out some of the wacky pics at the bottom. I wasn't about to cover myself in green paint three nights in a row, so I had to find something else that was quick and easy. My brother was chewing me out because I wasn't going to get dressed up for any of the parties and that's when I noticed my new UCI sweater. I remembered that Costume Castle still sells these incredibly racist "Chop Suey Glasses" that must be left over from the 40's. I grabbed some yellow buckteeth to make it as offensive as possible and was off.
Before you get too wound up, if you don't know me, my "wifey" of eleven years is 100% Asian as well as one of the guy's parties that I went to. The costume was in response to people giving me such a hard time about being white and going to a school that is mostly Asian. It was a joke… relax.
