There’s rules to the game…
No last names. All last names have been removed unless it is me, or they have passed along, and are now part of history.
People are tagged first name and initial for last name (with maiden name initials used for the ladies). Not all pictures are currently tagged. People are not tagged in pictures from friends.
No kids are tagged unless they are now over 18.
Will I remove some photo from the site that you don’t like for whatever reason? In all likelihood, probably not. Why? Because the last time I was posting pics, people were always complaining about whatever goofy picture they were in, but liked the next picture that made their friend look like an ass. If I took off all the pictures people wanted me to take off, there would be almost nothing on here.
Over 90% of my picture haven’t been added yet. Those will be coming sooner than later. This at least gives you something to look at if you’re stuck at home and bored.
If you’re into RSS feeds (or even know what that means), you can subscribe to see whenever new pictures are added with the Gallery RSS link at the bottom of the page.
Cool things you can do on the site- search for people tagged by name or search for events. To see a list of available tags for people, on a desktop browser you can start typing in the search box and a list should appear, or you can click on the Archive View link at the bottom of the page and it will list all current tags.
The server software I'm using does not currently support default responsive themes, so the site will not look or behave that great on phones or tablets, and will work best in a desktop browser. Why not make one? I’ve thought about it, but they’ve been promising to update it any day now for years, and I’m sure the moment I spend time creating one will be the moment they finally release it the next day.
When JesseCollier.com was launched in January 2000, friends would send me pictures in the mail to scan into the site. This was long before any social media garbage, and those same dumb pictures are still on here. So try to take everything with a grain of salt, that people can hopefully grow a little, and that this was all done for fun.
